What block wall work in Idaho Falls actually involves

the City of Idaho Falls' Building page says, under its Construction Reminders heading, that inspections are an essential part of ensuring safe building environments, and that no inspections can be made until the required permits for performing the work are issued. It adds: "Please be sure that your permits are issued before commencing with any work so that timely inspections may be performed and your construction projects are completed in compliance with the building codes."

Scheduling

The Apply for a Permit page lists scheduling inspections and checking inspection results among the services available through Cityworks, the City's system, and says everyone needs a new account there before applying for permits or scheduling inspections.

Who to ask

The Building page has a Contact Us column that lists the City's building inspectors with their phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Those are the City's to publish, so this site does not repeat them: use the page. The page also lists a document titled Required Inspections for New Residential Home. Its title names a new home, not a wall, and the title is all we have.

Whether a block wall needs an inspection is not something either page says. The City's building office is the place to ask, and the costs page lists every City line we read.
